 To provide the safest, most exciting and customer friendly stock car racing experience.
To provide our customers the highest level of safety we chose to hand pick all components and assemble our race cars ourselves. This has enabled us to control the quality of the equipment you will be driving. We also have spent much time developing a curriculum that would allow our participants to experience the ultimate amount of excitement with a margin for safety.
To supply the excitement we chose the 2.5 mile super speedway at Pocono Raceway. The very long straight-aways provide the ability to run faster speeds than most other tracks shorter in length. The three distinct corners enable our participants to experience the unbelievable cornering ability of a Sprint Cup Style stock car and the location being within 2 hours of Philadelphia and New York City.
To provide a customer friendly experience we have a track staff of 30 people, all of which are there to make sure you go home with a memory that will last a lifetime.
StockCar Racing Experience History
Prior to the opening of StockCar Racing Experience Jesse Roverana (SRE President) and Ove Falck (Vice President) had a combined experience totaling 43 years in the racing industry. Mr. Roverana had 18 years of corporate experience with the Bertil Roos IndyStyle Racing School and Mr. Falck had been in the racing industry for 25 years, with the last 10 years spent in race car engineering and driver development with Falcon Racing.
SRE was a vision developed by Jesse Roverana, and during a phone conversation in September of 1997, he shared this vision with Ove Falck. That was the start of a successful partnership that lead to late nights of developing a business plan and days filled with their “regular” jobs. Over the next 8 months Jesse and Ove were able to raise the capital needed to start StockCar Racing Experience.
In May of 1998 SRE officially opened a corporate office. By September of 1998 SRE had built 5 stock cars and held their first track day at Pocono Raceway. By the following year another 5 cars were built and as of 2009, SRE has built 24 stock cars that have now travelled over 1,600,000 miles around Pocono Raceway. In 2008 we began converting our fleet to the new "Car of Tomorrow" style, and in the future will produce only these new cars.
We would like to thank all of our loyal customers who have provided us the opportunity to make our dreams come true. This endeavor has been very rewarding to our staff, seeing all the smiling faces getting out of the race cars.
We would also like to thank Pocono Raceway and their staff for providing us with a facility which allowed us to achieve this accomplishment with an impeccable safety record. Again thanks to all!
