How many karts are in the race?
A full field of karts is 14.

Do I need racing experience?
No, we will teach you what you need to know, for you to compete in our races.

What's included in the price?
We supply equally prepared 390cc Pro Karts, full mechanical support, track support, lap time printouts, trophies and all service items - the driver simply shows up and races against other drivers in identical equipment.

Race Participant Requirements
Min.16yrs./Valid drivers license or 12yrs. with successful completion of Intro To Team ProKart Racing
Max Height 6'4" - Max Weight 250.
Note: For participants under 18 you must have a waiver signed by both parents and notarized. We must receive this waiver prior to the event.

Racing gear required to compete:
Mandatory gear: Snell 2000 Helmet, Neck Collars, Karting Suit, Racing Gloves
But not to worry we have snell 2000 helmets, neck collars and karting suits available to rent at a flat fee of $25. You are required to provide your own gloves or we have them available for purchase at the track. The rental fee is to be paid at the time of scheduling.
A valid drivers license is required to be placed on hold until all rental gear is returned.

What should you bring?

• Friends, family and camcorder are welcome.
• We recommend that you bring your own water or sports drinks. It is important to stay well hydrated. We will also have water and sports drinks for sale on site.
• Bring lunch, we can not guarantee the Pocono Raceway food concession will be open.
• We provide chairs and a canopy for participant, although if you are bringing guests we suggest they bring their own lawn chairs.
• No open alcoholic beverages allowed prior to the completion of the race.
• We suggest you bring rain gear which may be worn over your racing gear in case of rain.

Can I sign up alone?
Yes, when you enter an event as a single driver you will be placed on a team with other drivers who have signed up individually.

Kart to Kart Contact
Deliberately spinning, hitting or blocking another kart is strictly forbidden and carries a penalty at the discretion of the race director or head flag man.

Damage Liability
You are not responsible for damage to the karts.

Kart Policies
No refunds of your entry fee will be granted once a date has been reserved.

Individual Reservation
A 50% Deposit is due at the time of reserving your seat. Any balance is due 30 days prior to your scheduled date.

Team Reservation
A 50% Deposit is due at the time of reserving your teams kart. Any balance is due 30 days prior to your scheduled date. (To reserve a kart at the team price it is required that a team manager be assigned to make the reservation for that team.)

Reschedule and Substitutions Policy
You may reschedule up to 30 days prior to your reserved date with a $50.00 administrative fee.
You may not reschedule within 30 days of your reserved date. If for some reason you can not attend on your reserved date, you may send a substitution at no additional charge.

Rain Policy
Our kart racing events will be run rain or shine. You must register in person, no matter what the weather looks like at your present location. Please show up or you will be considered a no show cancellation and forfeit your tuition.
