What are the participation requirements... ?
- Age Requirements. To participate in our driving program, you must be 18 years of age and
possess a valid drivers license.
To participate in our ride program, you must be 14 years of age and have both parents present. (Under 18 both parents must sign a waiver/release form.)
- Size Requirements. All participants must be able to enter and exit the car on their own through a window opening 15" high x 30" wide and 36" off the ground, and be in good health. Size limitations may apply: Maximum height 6'4" / weight 300 lbs. If you’re near the limits of the size requirements, please email Steve Fox to schedule a time to come to the track and see if you fit, prior to your purchase. There will be no refund due to a student’s inability to fit in a race car.
- To drive you are required to have experience in operating a manual transmission. All cars have 4 speed manual transmissions.
Can guests come along to the race track... ?
- Yes, we encourage friends, family and video cameras to come and share in the experience.
What type of car... ?
- Our cars are Ford, Chevy and Dodge.
- All cars are 4-speed transmissions.
- Can I choose the car that I will drive? You may request a specific car on the day of your program and we will make every attempt to accommodate.
- Cars will be assigned by height and weight; we will make you as comfortable as possible.
- These are real stock cars, just like the big boys drive on Sunday.
Driving format... ?
- You will be able to drive at higher speeds each lap depending upon your own ability.
- You will follow a lead instructor car and learn the correct racing line by following 4 car lengths behind the lead car.
What to wear... ?
- Sneakers or closed-toe shoes are required. Dress comfortably for the weather in shorts or jeans & a t-shirt. Gloves are highly recommended to add to your comfort. We will have gloves available for purchase at the track. Eyewear, ie: goggles, eyeglasses or sunglasses, are recommended. We provide your suit and helmet. If you have your own, you are welcome to use them. The helmet must be a SA2005. The minimum required suit is a single layer Nomex.

What if it rains.. ?

We will make every effort to run all scheduled sessions. You must register in person, no matter what the weather looks like at your present location. We will run on a delay if possible. In the event that we have to postpone due to weather, your booking will be placed on hold and you will have one year from your originally booked date to complete your experience. Refunds will not be issued. Failure to report to the racetrack will be a forfeiture of your tuition and no rain check will be issued. StockCar Racing Experience is not responsible for any travel expenses incurred by changes beyond our control.
Are reservations required.. ?
- Advance booking is required for the drive programs.
- Walk-ins welcome, subject to availability, please call 1-877-786-2522.
- No refunds of your tuition will be granted once a date has been reserved. Please see our scheduling policies below.
Can I reschedule or send a substitution?
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than 30 days in advance, or in case of no-show. A cancellation fee of $75 applies for cancellations made more than 30 days in advance.
Substitution Policy: If you cannot attend on your reserved date, you may send a substitute at no additional charge. The substitute must bring your original booking confirmation. If time allows, please call prior to your experience date with substitute information.

How long are Gift Vouchers valid?
- Vouchers do not expire. There are no service fees for unused vouchers. The paid value of the voucher will never expire. The promotional value is good for one year from the date of purchase. After one year promotional period, you will be required to call our office to schedule a date. We will apply the paid value toward any of our current programs. Vouchers that are lost or stolen will be replaced for the original purchase price with valid proof of purchase.
Are Gift vouchers refundable?
- Items purchased with a promotion code or any types of discount are non-refundable. Hats, T-shirts, Winners Circle Packages and Racing Gloves are non-refundable. If you purchase a Gift Voucher at retail price you will receive a refund for the ride/drive program purchased, less a 5% administration fee within 30 days of the purchase date. After 30 days the voucher is non-refundable. Bookings are required for all programs, once a booking is made it is non-refundable.
