When my wife and I was on vacation at the Split Rock Resort my wife wanted to see the Pocono Race Track.So on Monday July 9th We went there and I found out about the Ride A Long I told my wife I want to do that and I did the 3 lap ride. It was the greatest experience I had ever had. I only wish I would have done the 6 lap ride It's one I will never forget.The staff and the driver I had was great. The next time I visit the race track I will do the 20 mile drive. Thank You All for the ride of my life.

This year was my 6 th time for the 20 mile drive ,and it was GREAT as always . The staff is great and helpful . I still like to be told safety items over each time ,I can never be too safe . One thing I would like to suggest is a package were I can drive and my wife ride in the car with me . I think it would be great . I will see you again next June ,the Monday after Fathers Day ,that's my day .

Hello, I wanted to take this opportunity to email you & thank you for the amazing experience that you provided my husband this week. My son & I purchased the 20 mile experience in April of 2011 for my husband as a surprise 40th birthday present. My husband was not made aware of the experience until the night before the race. He is a HUGE Nascar fan & loves cars which is why he is an automotive technician by trade. He has dreamed of having one of these experiences for at least 20 years or more & the dream finally came true. I have never seen my husband so excited in my life. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. We were very impressed with the overall organization, instruction, structure, etc. of the event. I was very thrilled that my son & I were able to sit in the pits & experience the entire thing with him as well. We were able to film & take enough pictures for him to remember this forever. I really want to thank you for making his surprise 40th birthday so amazing & unforgettable. We will be returning in the future to do a longer drive & have already suggested to all of our Nascar friends to experience this as well. In closing, my husband was wondering if there was any possibility of having his speed that he attained either emailed or sent to him via mail as another reminder of how fast he went. Once again thank you for this amazing time.

I had my 40 mile program yesterday 7/11/11. I just wanted to let everyone know that it was once again a pleasure to be there. I have done 5 drive programs at your school and two at other schools. SRE is by far the best school out there. The staff is incredible. Wanted to give thanks to a few people. I don't recall everyone's name. Joel in the classroom was great, as well as Steve Fox who is always a pleasure. Kurt on pit road is also fantastic. I had the pleasure of having Dale as my lead instructor and he provided the best experience on the track thus far. Kudos to your staff. Please let them know that they deserve a big thanks! I just wanted to take a minute to write and tell the staff what an AMAZING time I had participating in your ride and drive program. I bought the ride and 20 mile drive program for my dad for his 60th birthday. He was so excited when he received his gift in March that we were on the phone booking a date the next day! It was something he had wanted to do for many years. We were able to get our reservation on May 5th, 2010. What a gorgeous day! I wasn't going to do it at first, but my dad talked me into it a few weeks before our reservation and the woman who I called to schedule my drive was so very helpful in getting me a reservation so I was able to do it with him. The instructors were great, informative and friendly. Actually, any of the staff I came in contact with that day were pleasant and dedicated to making it special for us. They made us laugh and put me at ease when my nerves were getting the best of me before my drive. My dad and I still can't stop talking about how much fun we had. This is a day I simply will never forget and believe me when I say it was the most incredible experience we ever had!!! Most of all, my dad and I were able to share such a memorable day together, which is something we don't get to do often. I can't thank you enough for making our day so memorable!!! We hope to come back very soon.
PS... Despite my nerves (and being the only girl to drive, didn't help much!) my dad and I were able to get a little over 8,000 RPM's... faster than many of our fellow drivers! What a rush!!!

It is all I can say. When I decided to give you a try, I wasn't’t entirely sure since I am not a “car nut” or follow NASCAR and didn't’t know if that would make a difference. Well, I did it yesterday and it was terrific! I did a 3 lap Ride Along first, which I’d recommend to everyone, and then did the 20 mile Drive Program. Everything was extremely professional with plenty of instruction and time for questions. It was exciting, thrilling and just plain great fun!!
If you are thinking about it – just go do it! You’ll love it. I’d strongly recommend the ride along before the drive since it makes a big difference in how confidently you’ll drive after experiencing what the cars can really do.

My family and I just returned from The
Stockcar Racing Experience yesterday and I can't say enough about the total experience. I received my seat ticket for Christmas and was happily anticipating being able to drive one of your fantastic stockcars (20 mile). I also signed my son up to drive and my wife and my son's fiance to ride.
The day was gorgeous (May 5th, 2008) and there was electricity in the air. Your staff was phenomenal! We all learned so much about the cars and the intricacies of driving. Your program and staff are so professional and put you at ease. What an experience!! We, all, had the most fantastic time. I'll never forget my wife's face when she exited the car. She was clapping and whooping it up ( Thanks to Diamond Dave, her driver.

To The Staff of the Stock Car Racing Experience,
Please consider this email as my review of my experience on Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 at Pocono Raceway.
From the time of my and my brother in laws arrival at Pocono for our StockCar Racing Experience, your staff was nothing but professional. As expected, safety was stressed as #1, but great fun was never far behind. Steve Fox, our classroom instructor answered any and all questions and went through the race cars thoroughly. The van ride around the track was very informative as the instructor showed us the markers to watch for and the differences we would see in the turns as we drove the track on our own soon after. When we were finally able to get into the cars, the instructors in the pits were very calm even as I was quite nervous. I guess I did fine as I kept all 4 tires on the track and stayed behind the instructors car.
I would recommend this to anyone interested not just in NASCAR, but in any form of auto racing. If you want to really drive fast, legally, and learn something at the same time, go to Pocono Raceway and drive a stock car! You will never forget it!

May 8, 2010 I brought my son Tyler there for the SRE.
Tyler is a wonderful, 16 year old, autistic boy. He is the heart and soul of our family, and we do everything we can to be sure he gets to do everything he wants to do in life, even if it is “all in due time”.
Tyler’s dream is to drive for Dale Earnhardt Jr. But since that is highly unlikely, instead, for his 16th birthday, I got him the SR experience and, in June he will come to the Raceway for the Sprint Cup race.
For the last few weeks, he has been excitedly talking about how he was going to ride in a real Nascar race car. All I could think was that I wish it would be everything he wanted.
I have to tell you, because of your staff, it was that and so much more! They were kind, sensitive, without babying him, and especially understanding and attentive. Tyler ended up in his favorite race car #88 and specifically, Marie and Andy were amazing in getting him ready and making sure he had a great time. The pictures were amazing and by the end of the whole experience I was balling happy tears, seeing him climb out and excitedly run over to tell us about it. (Best Mothers Day weekend ever for me)
You are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful staff! Please be sure to thank them both again for me!
Maybe someday we will be back so Tyler can learn to drive

What a wonderful experience my sons, Scott, Jim and John, Dave Moyer and I had at the Pocono Raceway a couple weeks ago! My sons certainly pulled a fast one on me - what a surprise. Words cannot express what a thrill and pleasure it was to come racing down the straight ways at 160 mph. It was a thrill of a lifetime. 1st time in a Stock car and...........
That was the fastest THINKING I ever did in my life. The speed was only a means of measurement. When life begins to bore you from that lack of true mental challanges.......get behind the wheel of a stock car. I overcame fear and pushed my mind and car to to it's limits. Your only restrictions were MY limitations. THANK YOU for that. Every lap made the last lap's education null. Forcing you to experience and learn quickly.......all over again with every single lap. That's UNREAL! If I wanted just speed.....I'd find a drag strip, hang on and go straight. I'll be back MANY more times.
Oh PS!: I appreciate your driver's 'knowing" what I can handle. BIG thumbs up for keeping me at my limitations and not watering anything down for me. Next time........maybe just 120......maybe the 165 I pulled or maybe more. I trust your instructors to keep pushing wherever I am on that particular day.

Wow! What an awesome experience!!!
I gave my fiance, Mike, the Ride-A-Long, as well as, the 20 Mile Drive Program for his 40th Birthday. We arrived at Pocono Raceway on Wednesday June 23rd for his big day. From the moment we arrived, everything was great. Everyone we ran into was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Mike personally talked to Jesse, who was informative and took the time to reassure him of all the safety measures and also gave him some history of the program. Steve, who instructed Mike on the workings of the car and safety harness, was also quite knowledgeable and most helpful. His main instructor, who I believe was Vince, was awesome!!!!! He really explained the ins and outs of what was going to happen and added a little humor, which helped relax Mike and prepared him for what he was about to experience. He did the Ride-A-Long, and when he was done, he was a little apprehensive about actually having to now drive the car himself. He went back to Vince, who immediately put his concerns to rest and reassured him that he would be fine and that the driving experience would be totally different than being a passenger. Once Mike got into the car and started driving, he didn't want to get out!!!! Eight was definitely not enough!
We both cannot thank you enough and we will be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After months of waiting, our day to drive finally arrived. An absolutely beautiful day in the Pocono's and our adrenaline was pumping. After participating in two driving experiences at other tracks, we all were anticipating a fabulous day.The initial class room instruction we attended has, by far, been the best and most comprehensive educational session incorporated into one of these driving sessions. Not only did we learn about the track layout and how to handle emergency situations but the van ride around the track proved to be extremely worthwhile as well. The instruction given outside the classroom, at the car, was really informative. We were educated as to why and how the cars are set up, where all the safety equipment is located and how it is used.It was time to drive and some of us elected the 3 hot lap ride first. That ride was the best indicator of really how the car should feel and the line we should drive. We all took our turn at driving, some more laps than others, and all agree that Stock Car Racing Experience and their friendly, courteous personnel has been the absolute best Stock Car driving experience so far.
Thanks to all of you, our day was filled with excitement and an experience of a lifetime.
